Agriculture Department, Government of Punjab is inviting applications for a Financial Management Specialist to join the Chief Minister’s Punjab Green Tractor Program (2024-25) on a contract basis.
Position: Financial Management Specialist
Pay Scale: Project Pay Scale (PPS-09)
Number of Vacancies: 1
Contract Duration: Till 30th June 2025 (Extendable based on project status)

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all financial aspects of the project, including budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Develop and oversee financial procedures to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to manage funds effectively and meet project goals.
- Provide detailed financial analysis, and develop strategies for project cost-efficiency.
Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields. A relevant certification like CPA or CFA is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a similar role involving subsidy schemes or agricultural projects.
- Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
- Proficiency in financial management tools such as QuickBooks, SAP, MS Excel.
- Strong financial analysis, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with exceptional organizational skills.
- High ethical standards, and commitment to transparency.
