Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has introduced a historic Kisan Package to support farmers. One of the key features of this package is the establishment of Model Agriculture Malls. These malls will help improve farming practices and make agriculture more efficient in Punjab.
Establishment of Model Agriculture Malls
The government will set up four Model Agriculture Malls in Multan, Bahawalpur, Sargodha, and Sahiwal. These malls are being built with a budget of Rs. 1.25 billion.
Services Offered at Model Agriculture Malls:
- Quality seeds, fertilizers, and agro-medicines will be available in these agriculture malls.
- Farmers will be able to rent agricultural machinery from the malls, making it easier for them to use modern farming equipment.
- The malls will also have Advisory Desks. These desks will provide guidance and advice to farmers, helping them with their farming needs.
