Lahore: The Punjab Government has announced that Phase II of its flagship “Green Tractor Program” will officially open for applications on July 1, 2025. Designed to boost agricultural productivity across the province, this phase follows the resounding success of the first—under which 9,500 free tractors were distributed via a fully transparent lottery.

Launch Date: Applications open July 1, 2025, at 8 am sharp.
First Phase Success: In the initial rollout, 9,500 lucky farmers received free tractors and immediately reported significant gains in cultivation efficiency and crop yields.
Phase II Scope: An additional 20,000 subsidized tractors will be offered to eligible farmers on attractive financing terms.

Application forms will be available online at the Agriculture Department’s website and at local tehsil offices. Farmers are encouraged to complete and submit their forms promptly.
Government Commitment: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has personally overseen the program’s rollout, instructing the Agriculture Department to maintain full transparency at every stage of subsidy allocation and tractor distribution.
